Description:

These are my two current best buddies - on the left Deja (Acer Aspire) running on OpenSUSE, on the right Cortana (Acer Extensa) dual-booting Vista Home Premium and XP Pro. In the middle you can see one of 3 external hard drives I have. That little fella's name is Subroutine 1. What's not on the picture are Wellsley (Maxtor Seagate 250GB) and Jesus (Seagate 100GB, got its name because I thought it was dead and buried, but still decided to test it over 6 months after its death only to realize it was working again). You can also spot my external burner (Samsung Slimline) encased in Icy Box. What's missing is our PC but it's getting rebuilt at the moment.

      That she was. One of my favourite Halo characters. Seeing how she's created before Cortana and is in a way her sister, it was only fitting to name my older Acer Deja and newer Cortana.

        I'm still thinking on it...One of the potential names is Ethan (due to Ctrl Alt Del). I normally give male names to PC and female names to laptops.

        I just can't think of them. Like on papers, and stories and stuff, it takes me hours to come up with names. I think it would be even harder naming something I like.

        Oh that. I have incredibly hard time with names too. I used to be a writer. Eventually I stopped simply because I couldn't go through the process of thinking up names which usually took up too much time

        Yeah, I enjoy writing, I just don't have the time to actually spend developing everything. I have so many stories that I started and never finished. There is one that I really want to get back to though.

        I have about 4 novels written, but it's been years since I started anything fresh. I have ideas in my head, but when it comes to putting them down, it all gets lost on the way from my mind to the paper.
